MONTREAL TRANSPORT

Montreal Transportation – The different means of transportation in Montreal include bus, train and ferry service. You can rent a car, if you prefer and be sure to wear your seatbelt at all times. There are taxi and limo service available also. Check with your hotel because they may offer shuttle service and this can be very convenient for you. This will be very beneficial for you especially for getting back and forth to the airport.

Travel Guide

Another way to get around the city of Montreal and see the most of it is to take a tour of the city. Check the tour section of the guide for the tours that we recommend. This will be the most comfortable way to get around the city of Montreal.

The Metro is easy to use, very comfortable and convenient. It runs from about 5.30 am to about 1 am and there are four lines – green orange yellow and blue.

Fares are about CDN $3 for bus and metro and you can buy booklets of ten tickets at a reduction. You can also get a one day pass for about CDN$10.

You can also get a Museum pass for 3 days which gives you access to many museums and also includes all your public transport. The cost is about CDN$40-45 for this pass.

If you need assistance or have questions about the transportation system in Montreal you can contact them at this number. They will have the answers you are looking for.
